Where Kids Grow
in Faith and Fun
TBC Children Church is led by a Coordinator and an assistant who work with a team of volunteers. They are passionate about children and focus on building a relationship with them and teaching Gods word in safe, loving and encouraging environment.
Zion Kids
Our Misson
We value children’s RELATIONSHIP within the small group setting as they relate to their leader and other Kids. As families commit to attending each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow.
Our Misson
We create a friendly, fun atmosphere where children enjoy learning about Jesus through games, activities, and energetic songs, making every service memorable, meaningful, and applicable while inspiring excitement to return and practice what they learn each week.

No. The children’s church seeks to provide quality spiritual education for children, and this is open to all children whether their parents attend TBC church or not.
Does the children’s church recruit volunteers who are not member of the TBC church?
No. all volunteers must be members of TBC and must meet the standard requirements.
What are the provisions for children who do not understand English?
There is no special class for the children who do not understand English. The children will be placed in the standard class for their age group and groomed specially by the volunteers to ensure that they understand what is being taught in the class. Also, the children will be assisted with the use of English Language.
What happens when a parent/guardian misplaces the check-in card for a child and is therefore unable to pick up the child?
Parent/guardian will be encouraged to look for the card. After failed attempt, he/she will be required to write a letter stating that the date, his/her name, number of the card and name of child/children. It is to be stated in the letter that the card(s) was misplaced by him/her and request made to check-out the child without the card. The letter will be scanned and documented. Replacement of that card number will not be made.
Suppose a mother checks-in her child and before/at the end of service the father comes to check-out the child, what is the procedure?
In a situation where everything is fine in such family, this wouldn’t be a challenge but supposing the parents are not on good terms, this will pose a serious security issue. Therefore, volunteers are to adhere to the set standard of the church. Such volunteer should politely explain to the father that it is the person that checked-in the child that is permitted to check-out the child.
What happens in a case of emergency where the person who checked-in the child is not available to check-out the child?
Such cases must immediately be escalated to the coordinator of the children’s church.
What is the provision for maids?
We believe that everyone with a maid should treat such child as his/hers. Therefore, maids are placed in class based on their age and treated like every other child.
What happens if a medical emergency arises during service time?
At every point, the children’s church has made provisions for first aid treatment and a fully stocked first aid box. However, there are doctors in church in case of medical emergencies.
